August 22, 2007 DIGITELL LAUNCHES "FREE ACCESS FOR ALL" PROGRAM AT ASAE CONFERENCE Digitell launched their new service called, FREE ACCESS FOR ALL, at the recent ASAE conference in Chicago and the reviews were all "Thumbs Up" Jamestown, NY August 22, 2007 – For as long as we can remember, associations have been recording their sessions at their annual meeting and providing those sessions for sale to attendees in the form of cassettes, CDs or CD-ROM. With the launch of their custom designed on-line libraries one year ago, Digitell now has the right product to turn that business model upside down and the benefits are unbelievable. Digitell’s new service gives all attendees free on-line access to the educational sessions as part of the cost of their registration. For years, attendees have been frustrated at conferences because of the inability to attend all the sessions, walk the exhibit hall, network with colleagues and enjoy the conference location. Many attendees refuse to pay additional money for the recordings. This new service is a breakthrough for associations looking to remove this frustration for all attendees and add value to their meetings. "This is a great business model. We have used this model for the last two years. The response was immediate and extremely positive. People said it was one of the great benefits of attending our meeting", says Marshall Lipson, managing director of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. Giving all attendees free access to the education also provides a valuable advertising tool for the exhibitors, who can reach attendees with their ads through the multimedia player as well as the audio and the material downloads. An additional part of this service is allowing speakers to upload their PowerPoint presentations prior to the conference so attendees can download what they want before attending. This eliminates the need for the costly syllabus book or CD and is helping the associations save money and go green. "Most associations are paying for this benefit by increasing the registration fee by as little as $15-$25", says Jim Parker, president of Digitell. "Built into this model is revenue for the association, who are now generating 3-5 times more revenue than they were getting from their CD or CD-ROM vendor", adds Parker. "This is truly a win-win for everyone and we are excited to see such a positive response from executive directors, who are telling us, you would have to be crazy to not use this model."
